Mrs. Manju Rajput

An alumnus of the University of Delhi and Bombay University, Mrs. Rajput comes with a teaching and administrative experience of 33 years with some of the best educational institutions of the country. Her early teaching years at the prestigious Sharda Mandir, Goa, an ISC school, laid the foundation for her meritorious stint in the field of education. Before taking up the role of the Senior Headmistress at Bal Bharati, Rohini, she taught at Jaspal Kaur Public School and finally progressed to heading one of the most prestigious schools in the country, Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School, Humayun Road, New Delhi, in 2003.

Regarded as one of the finest academic leaders, she has nurtured and created ample avenues for the professional growth of teachers. Mentoring them in their pursuit to accomplish scholastic as well as co-curricular goals in educating new-age learners, she has successfully guided them to meet challenges in an ever-changing world.

Widely traveled and highly experienced, she believes in offering a caring and nurturing environment for the children to become well-rounded, aware, conscientious global citizens. Fostering innate curiosity in children and providing them with concrete hands-on experiences for their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative growth is her strength and purpose in life.

Mrs. Rajput has attended several Seminars and Conferences on Education in India and abroad. Her untiring efforts in the field of education have received due recognition. Besides many others, she has received Dr S. Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teacher’s Award, Rajya Shikshak Samman, Priyadarshini Award, Vijay Shree Award, Teacher’s State Award by Federation of Public Schools, Delhi, Shiksha Rattan Puraskar, Deendayal Upadhyay Excellence Women Award, Paryavaran Dronacharya Award, Ratna Award, World Disaster Education Award by the International Association of Educators of World Peace, Award in Educationist category - 13th edition of International Women's Day Awarded by the Public Diplomacy Forum, to name a few.

A simple, unassuming, pleasant, and approachable person, Ms. Rajput is meticulous and totally hands-on with her work. In her own words she is restless, forever exploring and discovering the world around her with a childlike curiosity. She is a “true friend”, a star gazer, and an animal lover. She loves everything NATURE !!!!
