“Democracy is not merely a form of government. It is primarily a mode of associated living, of conjoint communicated experience. It is essentially an attitude of respect and reverence towards fellow humans.”- Dr. B R Ambedker. Elevating these sentiments proudly, The Heritage School , Noida, marked the 75th Republic Day with profound patriotic enthusiasm and fervour. The celebration commenced with a motivational speech delivered by Myra Khurana of Grade 8A. Myra's speech wove a spell of inspiration that lingered, akin to verses etched in the memory of all present in the assembly. The school choir, a harmonious ballet of voices, took centre stage, rendering a medley of patriotic hymns that resonated like verses from an epic. Each note, a poetic refrain echoing the sacrifices of yesteryears, narrating the saga of a resilient nation that harmonised through trials and triumphs. Our beloved Principal, Ms. Manju Rajput, delivered the closing address adorned with inspiring expressions. Her words, a cascade of wisdom, flowed like a river of enlightenment, urging the young minds to celebrate this monumental day with a deep sense of respect and reverence.

On the auspicious occasion of Gurupurab, students and teachers of Grade 3 organized a vibrant celebration that brought everyone together in a spirit of joy and unity. Students enthusiastically showcased their talents, portraying key moments from the life of Guru Nanak Dev ji’s life, emphasizing values of compassion, equality, and selflessness. The celebration comprised two soulful Shabads sung mellifluously by the students .The soul-stirring renditions echoed through the auditorium, creating a serene ambience that resonated with the spiritual essence of Gurupurab. The students also performed a skit that beautifully depicted the teachings and a few incidents from the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The parents, who were present in large numbers, thoroughly enjoyed the cultural extravaganza. Their presence added warmth to the celebration, creating a sense of community and togetherness. The grand culmination of Gurupurab celebration was marked by the distribution of delicious 'kada prasad' . This sweet and sacred offering provided a perfect conclusion to the event, symbolizing the joyous spirit of unity and community that defines our school's cultural celebrations.

Dussehra, with its emphasis on truth and righteousness, stands as a powerful reminder of Lord Rama's unwavering commitment to dharma. His unwavering resolve serves as a timeless example, demonstrating that truth, though often tested, ultimately prevails. The epic tale of the Ramayana was gracefully told through a musical titled 'Shree Ram ki Vijay Gatha,' performed by the students of Kindergarten. The celebration commenced with a Ganesh Vandana spiritually uplifting the audience, followed by soulful rendition of a Ram bhajan. The students' vibrant costumes and performances brought various mythological characters, including Lord Rama, Sita, Ravana, Lakshman, and Hanuman, to life. The event culminated with a powerful message urging the audience to conquer the inner evils that reside within each one of us. This invaluable lesson added depth and meaning to the celebration, leaving an indelible impact on the audience.

SRIJAN 2023, an Inter-School Art Competition was hosted by The Heritage School, Noida on Friday 1st September 2023. The event aimed at offering a platform to the students to showcase their talent and creativity using a variety of materials and art forms. The enriching environment helped students view the processes, observe and appreciate the same with so much the talent around them. Many prestigious schools participated in this event. It was a treat to see the final outcomes emerge from a scratch into masterpieces which the judges found extremely challenging but enriching to judge.

In an endeavour to offer a platform for young students to learn, hone their skills, and prove their mettle across the literary spectrum with activities that are woven around showcasing their prowess at speaking with conviction, writing and thinking, both creatively and critically, the school organised Lit Prêt, an Inter-School Literary Event on 27th and 28th July 2023. Participants from sixteen prestigious schools showcased their skills, creating an environment for literary enrichment, friendly interactions, healthy competitive spirit, with appreciation and admiration for creativity that unfolded across all events.
