Aarambh - Day Four

The end is never the end as it paves the way for another landmark journey to begin. Day 4 marked the conclusion of the four-day long intensive training of teachers. Recalling experiences when their own teachers made an indelible impact on their lives, and realising the significant role teachers play in moulding personalities, was followed by a session on Danielson’s Teaching Framework. This helped them understand how safe spaces, a nurturing environment, prior planning and preparation can be instrumental in developing and honing skills in both the teacher and the students. Classroom management techniques and good teaching practices were shared with the participants enabling them to introspect and reflect on how they could progress to the next level. Culminating in a commitment by the teachers to “be the change” to see the change, the session ended leaving everyone with smiling faces, wonderful memories, many learning experiences and renewed perspective on their role as facilitators of learning.
