“Khel Utsav”- the Sports Day of the Middle Programme students at THE HERITAGE SCHOOL, Noida saw an unprecedented success with renowned Olympian shooter Arjuna Awardee, Sanjeev Rajput gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The presence of members of the school management, other distinguished guests, and the parent fraternity added charm to the event.
The March Past, led by enthusiastic teachers, set an inspiring tone to the event. Grades 3-8 participated in the March Past with each class representing and upholding one of the School’s Dharmic values. The esteemed 18, MadrasRegiment band of Mysore Battalion, enhanced the overall festive atmosphere. The synchronized march of the students to the beats of the band added a sense of discipline and grandeur to the occasion.
The Director Principal, Mrs Manju Rajput, expressed her gratitude to the parents for their participation. She highlighted the notable achievements of Sanjeev Rajput and encouraged students to draw inspiration from his life. The chief guest inaugurated the shooting range at the school campus and urged students to consider taking up shooting as a sport.
The variety of athletic events, including shot put, hurdle and obstacle races, relay races, and basketball and football matches, added a competitive edge, allowing students to showcase their skills and sportsmanship...The lively Tug–of War brought out teamwork and camaraderie among the participants, fostering bonds that will endure far beyond the sports day festivities.
Events like these not only promote physical fitness and sportsmanship but also instill values and a sense of pride in the school community. It was indeed a day filled with celebration, inspiration, and unity.
