Aarambh Day 2
New team members at THS- Noida continued on their journey of initiation into the Heritage family on the second day of Aarambh. The day's activities started on a high note with rappelling, encouraging everyone to overcome their fears and take the leap.
As the day proceeded, the participants continued to engage in activities that helped them discover aspects of their personalities that had remained hidden from their own eyes. Working in small groups, they had opportunities to share ideas, opinions and perspectives meant to broaden their worldview and engage in reflections about their experiences. Positive thought and positive action formed the crux of the day's agenda as the participants finished the day by penning down their memories of the past and their dreams for the future.

    Aarambh day 1
    The new members of the faculty and other staff at The Heritage School, Noida got an opportunity to connect and get acquainted with what the school stands for during Aarambh, a five day immersive session with them.
    The session was conducted by the Central Induction Team of The Heritage Group of Schools. Designed to offer support, guidance and orientation through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous tasks, the programme includes three critical modules - Understanding Self, Knowing the School and learning about High Teaching Standards. The session consisted of interactive activities that allowed the participants to know each other, express themselves, reflect upon readings and conversations, and collaborate in ways that helped strengthen the sense of community .

      SUMMER CAMP AT THS-N- DAY 5
      On the final day of the Summer Camp, the excitement continued as the children engaged in creative and constructive activities. Students of Nursery enjoyed listening to stories while dressed up as their favourite fictional characters.
      The Kindergarteners made place mats adorned with vegetable printing patterns and then spent the rest of the day playing traditional Indian games such as pitthu, poshampa, stapu, and aankh micholi. Grades 1 and 2 tinkered in the Makers Lab to get their creative juices flowing, closing the day by creating a rainbow paper plate tambourine. Children of grades 3, 4, and 5 continued to refine their storytelling and doodling skills, while those from grades 6 and 7 added to their repertoire of life skills by learning how to hem and sew on a button. As the week-long Summer Camp came to an end, the happy faces of the attendees and the shared joyful experiences left indelible memories for everyone to cherish.

        SUMMER CAMP AT THS-N- DAY 4
        Day 4 dawned with a buzz as the children arrived ready for new escapades. Nursery kids got creative with paper mâché, proudly displaying the bowls they made using their newly learnt skill.
        Kindergarteners shook a leg to Zumba tunes and also got acquainted with essential life skills like folding clothes and lacing shoes. The children of grades 1 and 2 took a close look at the story of cotton, its journey from a plant to fabric, and understood warp and weft by trying their hand at weaving and interlacing strands to create a pattern of their own. The middle program students explored doodling as another form of self-expression and also continued to learn the art of impactful storytelling. Grades 5 to 7 were introduced to the critical life skill of administering first aid. On the penultimate day of the Summer Camp, the students left the campus entertained, enriched, and equipped with essential day-to-day skills.

          SUMMER CAMP AT THS-N- DAY 3
          There was fun and excitement galore as the students walked into the premises, looking forward to the activities planned for the morning. The children of Nursery learnt important life skills as they practised table manners and made aprons out of newspapers.
          Wearing their self-created animal headgear, the Kindergarten kids regaled everyone as they pranced along the school corridors in a Jungle Parade. They understood the concept of heavy clouds and rainfall as they captured a rain cloud in a jar in an interestingscience experiment. Students of grades 1 to 5 took a deep dive into the world of folktales and fantasy through storytelling, creating comic strips, and puppetry. Grades 6 and 7 continued their scientific quest by creating fan pipes. The enthusiasm and surge of creativity were palpable as was the unbridled joy of being a child as Day 3 came to a close.

            SUMMER CAMP AT THS-N- DAY 2
            Day 2 of the Summer Camp brought in new adventures and activities as the children hopped and skipped their way to school in anticipation. The students of Nursery created aboriginal art using earbuds to paint. They also marvelled at the wonders of nature as they observed an experiment explaining the eruption of volcanoes. Kindergarten started on a fitness streak with interesting sports activities, which then segued into yoga to mark the International Day of Yoga.
            . Their day ended in shrieks of laughter and joy as they engaged in water play and messed with paints. The students of Grade 1 and 2 watched a puppet show with rapt attention and then created puppets of their own. For students of Grades 3 and 4, paper was the focus of the day as they engaged in a collaborative exercise of making a bridge with newspapers, recycling used paper into handmade paper, and finally exploring the art of quilling to create figurines. Grades 5, 6, and 7 experimented with creating seismographs and parachutes and then took time to unwind with music and bamboo dance.

              SUMMER CAMP AT THS-N- DAY 1
              The first day of the Summer Camp at THS-Noida was a joyful one as the children returned to school after the summer break brimming with excitement. The creative and engaging activities planned for them made their excitement grow manifold. The students of Nursery and Kindergarten plunged into the world of sensory exploration through activities like gardening and messy play.
              They also worked at their fine motor skills and creativity through origami, tear and paste artwork, and recycling of old T-shirts into bags. Students of Grade 1 and 2 got into the groove with Zumba and a magic show, closing the day with colourful slime making while those from Grade 3, 4, and 5 indulged their scientific side by creating conglomerate rocks and fossils. Caring for the environment, they also learned to make a solar-powered oven. Students from Grade 6 and 7 dabbled in the creation of 3D electronic projects using LEDs, while also taking time to observe the journey of water through the veins of a plant. As fabulous and fun-filled as the first day of camp was, it only gets better from here as every day is packed with activities that energise, enrich, and enthral..
