The time around Christmas is marked by festive joy, hope, celebration and camaraderie. The weather turns chilly, the year inches towards its conclusion making way for a brand new year with renewed promises and resolutions. The THSN Christmas Sports Gala brought the school community together in celebration as the students put forth a dazzling display of athletic, musical and theatrical talent. The Commissioner of Police, Ms Laxmi Singh, Chief Guest for the day, applauded the efforts of the students, from Pre-Nursery to grade 7, who braved the morning chill as they waited for their turn to participate in various runs and relays. A spectacular gymnastics performance started the day off on a high note, followed by fun runs by the pre-primary children who brightened up the day with their Christmas-themed attire and accessories. Students across the grades showed their sporting ability as well as brilliant teamwork as they took part in collaborative track activities. Melodious choir performances punctuated the event and the day ended with a scintillating musical performance of 'The Polar Express', a classic everyone present thoroughly enjoyed. |
